WHO IS THE KING OF GLORY?
The word of God responds to this question in the following undeniable manner:
Psalm 24:7-10 (NKJV)
7
“Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
8
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
9
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
10
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah!” (Pause and calmly think on that)!
LORD, I bless YOU because YOU are so AWESOME with MIGHTY POWER and YOU are encompassed about with GLORIOUS SPLENDOR. To YOU be all the GLORY, HONOR and PRAISE for the things that YOU have done in my life. I bless YOU, LORD, with all that is within me and I bless YOUR HOLY NAME.

JESUS, THE ONLY WAY!
BARBARA E. PERKINS
JESUS, THE ONLY WAY!
The word of God in John 14:6 (NKJV) empathically states,
“Jesus said to him, ‘I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. NO ONES COMES TO
THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.’” Since I want to grow closer to Almighty God, I
have to approach God through Jesus Christ, His Son. Jesus said (paraphrased),
“No one is getting to my Father God without passing through Me.” Then the word
of God further emphasizes this fact in John 10:9 when Jesus said, “I am the
door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find
pasture.” Jesus is the doorway to SALVATION—granting me access and a personal
relationship with His Father God. One day, many, many years ago, I entered that
door that Jesus offers (to everyone) and found all that I could ever need for
growth in life and godliness, as well as experiencing God’s mercy, grace,
lovingkindness, peace, protection, health, shelter, etc., etc., etc. Having a
relation with God and Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord, is more than amazing,
more than wonderful. It is life changing, making me a better person for my
Family and all those I encounter in my daily life. It is the greatest
experience I have ever had in my life and even though that was enough, Jesus
also promised me eternal life (John 3:15). Glory to God and to Jesus Christ for
the love they have shown me and those I love. Jesus Christ continues to be the
Way—that Open Door that leads to Almighty God’s presence. O, the Joy of finding
that Open Door!
In Revelation 3:20 Jesus is saying to you RIGHT NOW,
“Behold, I stand at the DOOR and KNOCK. If anyone hears My voice and opens the
door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Would you like
to experience God’s presence by inviting His Son, Jesus Christ, into your
heart? Then pray this prayer: Dear God, I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ
is Your Son. I believe that Jesus died on the cross, shed His blood, and rose
from the grave for my salvation. I confess Him right now as my Savior and Lord.
God fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I can live a life that pleases You.
In Jesus’ Name! Amen! If you prayed this prayer you are saved. Welcome to God’s
Family!

IN GOD WE TRUST!
BARBARA E.
PERKINS
IN GOD WE
TRUST!
There is a
phrase that is found on all of the currency in the U. S. A. and it is “IN GOD
WE TRUST.” That is a wonderful thought, idea, and an even better practice,
especially for all those of us who have made Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.
Do you put your trust in God as a practice, as a way of life? The word of God
in Psalm 20:7 (NKJV) declares, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but
we will remember the name of the Lord our God.” Then God’s word in Isaiah 31:1
vigorously proclaims, “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on
horses, who trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because
they are very strong, but who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek
the Lord! GOD WANTS US TO PUT OUR TRUST IN HIM WHEREVER WE HAPPEN TO LIVE!!!
Not in
mankind!
In God We
Trust!
Not in
governments (to be disappointed)!
In God We
Trust!
Not in
organizations!
In God We
Trust!
Not In
institutions!
In God We
trust!
When the
banks want to foreclose on our homes or cars…!
In God We
Trust!
When we need
a job…!
In God We
Trust!
When there
is no food in our kitchen cupboards…!
In God We
Trust!
When our
children need clothing…!
In God We
Trust!
When the
schools are no longer a safe place…!
In God We
Trust!
When our
sacred Churches are no longer a safe haven…!
In God We
Trust!
When the
doctor says there is no hope…!
In God We
Trust!
When all you
need is stability and PEACE…!
In God We
Trust!
Put your
trust in ALMIGHTY GOD, He is always there for us (wherever your there is). He
has said many times, “I will not leave you nor forsake you” (Genesis 28:15,
Deuteronomy 31:6, 8, Joshua 1:5, and Hebrews 13:5). Trust Almighty God!
Would you
like to invite God’s Son, Jesus, into your heart? Pray this prayer: Dear God, I

right now as my Savior and Lord. God fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I

THE LORD, MY EVERYTHING!
BARBARA E. PERKINS
THE LORD, MY EVERYTHING!
The word of God in Psalm 18:1-3 (KJV) admonishes us, “I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.” The LORD is I AM (ALWAYS PRESENT TENSE)! He sent Moses to deliver His people, letting them know that the GREAT I AM was sending Moses (Exodus 3:14). The LORD is always everything that His people need. He’s the God Who ALWAYS IS! YAHWEH!!! God has never changed and He is still able to meet our every need. The LORD is my EVERYTHING! He is my STRENGTH, my ROCK (solid foundation), my FORTRESS, my DELIVERER, my GOD. Didn’t I say He’s my STRENGTH? I trust HIM!!! The LORD is my BUCKLER (PROTECTION), the HORN of my SALVATION, and my HIGH TOWER. I can call upon the LORD. I will PRAISE the LORD because HE IS WORTHY and because He SAVED ME when I couldn’t save myself. Hallelujah to the LORD! That’s why I love Him so much!!! YES, The LORD IS MY EVERYTHING!!!

GOD HAS PLANS FOR US!
BARBARA E. PERKINS
GOD HAS PLANS FOR US!
In the Book of Jeremiah 29:11-13 (AMP) our merciful God
shares His plans for our lives. “11 For I know the plans and thoughts that I
have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for
disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call on Me and you
will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to
you. 13 Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital
necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
God’s love and compassion for us is so evident in these Scriptures. There is
always hope for us in God because He is concerned about our well-being—our
peace, as well as our future. But, it is also evident in verse #12 that I (we)
have to invite God into our situations by calling upon Him, praying to Him so
that God will listen to us in our time of need or just time of fellowship in
His presence. In verse #13 God says, “…With deep longing you will seek ME and
require ME as a vital necessity and you will find ME when you search for ME
with all your heart.” He wants an intimate, life-changing relationship with us,
but He is not going to violate our free will. When we go contrary to God’s
plans for our lives, we run headlong into evil plans as in John 10:10 (NKJV),
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have
come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” I
have my own horror story of living contrary to God’s will nearly 50 years ago,
when God said to go right and I made a sharp left turn and allowed the thief to
subvert my plans. O, what a happy day it was when I found my way back to God,
got saved, and am now living in God’s plans for my life. There is no plan
comparable to the wonderful plan that God has for my life. Hallelujah!!! Thank
You, LORD GOD for Your mercy and Grace!

prayer: Dear God, I want Jesus Christ to be my Savior and Lord. I believe that
